Gary Mendese, MD, FAAD

Dr. Gary Mendese is co-founder of CosmeticsMD. Double board-certified in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (Mohs), Dr. Mendese specializes in both Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer as well as cosmetic dermatology. He completed his dermatology training at the combined Boston University/Tufts University Dermatology Residency Program, where he served as Chief Resident, and completed his American College of Mohs Surgery Fellowship in Mohs and Surgical Reconstruction in 2012. Currently, along with his daily practice duties, he is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Tufts University School of Medicine. In addition to seeing patients, he serves as Vice President for the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology. A Peabody native and graduate of PVMHS, Dr Mendese is proud to practice in his hometown. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 children.
